Wow.
I cant believe I'm back in the office after spending the last 14 days on a mad jaunt around Europe. There is so many great memories and nearly 1000 photos to be sorted out! I've put some of the good ones on a web page - the link is on the right hand side click away if you're bored.
The most amazing news is - WE CAME 6TH!
I can't believe it, we would have been even higher if the start wasn't so rubbish and I lost the ability to count (yes again!) on a special stage, when Bex totally forgot about a 5 second special stage!
However, most importantly, we would have got a perfect score of zero points if we were told what to do on a special stage so instead of getting 100 penalty points! Does anyone know how difficult it is to get a mini to cross a time control to the 100th of a second?!
We had a great time, and still can't get over the fact we have reached our sponsorship target after only 4 weeks of trying. Thank you all so much for your help!
At the final Gala Dinner in London we were talking about which bits of the job were the highlights, and one of the best memories was lunch where we all got the giggles and were crying with laughter! Many people came up to see what we were laughing at and got a bit confused when we said it was all about rabbits!
Monza.
Monza, was amazing. We were very very lucky to get to drive around the old banked circuit which was so very special, even if it did break Gue a little bit!
Rome.
I really want to go back to Rome to see all the sights properly, but the chaos we caused in our convoy was fantastic - google minis in Rome to see footage people have posted!
So many memories and so much to remember I'll put more up this evening!
